Root Stuck in ClockworkMod Recovery

rybussell

I rooted the Revo about two weeks ago and was loving it! Last night, I decided to try Titanium Backup and wanted to reset the phone to factory defaults.

I went into the phone, clicked restore factory defaults, and hit ok.

Now, the phone turns on and sticks in ClockworkMod Recovery 4.0.0.2...

I've tried hitting update from the backed up files... It continues to reboot into CWM Recovery. I downloaded a Revo Stock image, extracted it, and tried to restore from those images. Still reboots into CWM...

Is there something I am missing? If someone gets me out of this, I will gladly send them a little bit of money over paypal or something! Thanks!

This is taken from other posts available via google.. I am NOT taking credit for this, I just found it and am posting for you... Also, I, nor the original poster, take credit for whatever this does....

For Froyo V4:
Free File Hosting, Online Storage &amp File Upload with FileServe

For Froyo V6:
Free File Hosting, Online Storage &amp File Upload with FileServe

For Gingerbread (V7):
Free File Hosting, Online Storage &amp File Upload with FileServe

You only need one... Gingerbread worked for me as did V6.

Steps:

1. Get the LGNPST Package with the GenericModels and Components Plug-In.
Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

2. Get the DLL file specifically for the Revolution
Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

3. Extract the "LGNPST Store & Lab"

4. Install the following order:
a. LGNPSTv1.2_Store_Version.msi
b. LGNPST_v1.2_Lab_Version.msi
c. Components >> LGNPST_Components_Ver_5_0_12_0.msi
d. GenericModels >> LGNPST_GenericModels_Ver_5_0_10_0.msi

Run "Right_Click_Register_DLL.reg"

5. Make a new folder called "Models" in the program's directory
Default: "C:\LG Electronics\LGNPST\"

6a. Grab the "VS910.dll" and put it in the "Models" folder.

6b. Right Click "VS910.dll" and click on Install/Register.
Note: DLL WILL NOT INSTALL UNLESS COMPONENTS AND GENERICMODELS PLUG-INS ARE INSTALLED!!!

IF YOU CANNOT INSTALL IT ON A RIGHT CLICK GO TO "C:\Windows\System32" and dragl the VS910.dll on "regsvr32" and it should install.

a. Make sure you install it properly
b. REBOOT your PC!!

7. Run "LGNPST"

8. Connect your phone to the PC with the USB cable. Make sure the Clockwork Mod Recovery screen is up.

9. Phone should pop up in the list with a COM port, etc.

10. Select the phone and click on the Open folder button inside the .BIN query underneath the COM## details.

11. Since it defaults to a .bin file, you can open the .TOT file by typing "*.*" inside the File Name query and hitting Enter

12. Select the .TOT file you downloaded and Click OK

13. Then click on Upgrade

14. Wait a few minutes

It should reboot into default, stock form.
