Root "Stuck" in CWM Recovery - HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prime ROM:
After booting to recovery with the hold power menu, it always boots there unless pushing VOL-DOWN and not pushing VOL-UP. Then I get the boot menu, and then it "cold-boot"s to Android.

You didn't exactly explain yourself well, but you're supposed to use VOL-DOWN and then press VOL-UP key when it tells you to

I want to boot to Android. Even without Vol-down and vol-up, it still goes to CWM. I need to press vol-down, then let go to go to the boot menu. Only then does it work.

Having the exact same issue. Nv flashed a different recovery and still doing the same. Cold boot from linux is ok but not exactly ideal.

And when I flash a new recovery from rom manager, it still uses the old one (5.5.something), whether voldwn or not. How do I get into nvflash?

I am also having the exact same problem.

booting normally goes straight to CWM. If I cold boot I can get back to Cyanogenmod, but the next time I boot up it goes straight to CWM

here's what i did for the bootloop issue, and honestly not recommending it but when i had a broken recovery i used rom manager to flash cwm then flashed back to twrp. instructions of what i did are located here

after flashing a custom recovery you have to install a stick.zip or the phone will automatically restore the default recovery.....you should only have to do this once though.....hope this helped

i just had a run in with this same scenario. like an idiot i was messing with stuff i shouldnt have been and ended up flashing the latest cwm recovery from rom manager and got the recovery loop. the link that bnb25 posted got it back up and running but you gotta follow the directions exactly. i booted to recovery via advanced boot menu and it went right back to the cwm recovery loop.

EDIT: on a second attempt i followed the directions exactly, rebooting into recovery like it said instead of doing it through advance power menu and i had team rogue recovery back and everything is now back to working order. hope this helped some XD
