Root Stuck in Fastboot without options please help

I have a rooted stock 2.2.1 Optimus M stuck in fastboot mode started() it does not have recovery, nor custom ROM.....I have tried for 2 days to figure it out. I can not follow joneidy's Guide on fastboot http://androidforums.com/optimus-m-all-things-root/382525-guide-get-out-fastboot-mode.html as I am on Win XP, and I will not read the drivers after selecting lgandlbd.ifn as have expressed other XP users on the thread. I don't have the option of getting to another system. What other options do I have to get this thing out. I am losing work without my phone......PLEASE help......I am waiting on replies before going further as I don't want to do more damage. Thank you.

Have you pulled the battery to see if it will reboot? Sometimes you can get fastboot, but then rebooting will fix it...

If not, I think the only other way would be to use LGNPST to do an emergency program, but then you will need to write all your data back to the phone and I am not 100% certain all the proper apps work in XP.

See if you can get LGNPST, QPST and QXDM to install in XP. if you can start here:
