Stuck in first screen of android configuration

hello, im from brazil and i get a metropcs admire... i know it wont work here as a phone, but i want it to have a cheap gps/android device.... so i install a custom rom, its all fine, BUT i cannot pass that first android configuration screen... i can only make a emergency call... the configuration doesnt go on when i press the android logo.... what should i do? thanks a lot....

i did thid procedure:
Samsung Admire [Tutorial] (How To Install Clockwork Mod Recovery Using Odin) [FOR 2.3.4 & 2.3.6] - YouTube

and then i did this other:
Samsung Admire [ROM] (Admired Monster 5.3 Full Build Installation) - YouTube

everything went well excatly like the videos, but when i need to configure teh android for the first time, it got stuck in the screen that tells me to touch the android logo (caracter) to continue.... and it dont continue....

what sould i do?

First of all, I hope you made a backup in CWM Recovery before you flashed the ROM. So, just try the procedure over, not the whole thing, just try the Monster 5.3 installation over again from step one. It should work unless you've done something wrong, but it doesn't look like you have. Uhmm, did you flash the correct build, btw?

Like, there's an overclocked build and a non-overclocked build. Then again, if you flashed the wrong build, I doubt the kernel mismatch would let you boot your phone. Honestly I don't know about that part, just try installing the Monster again and see what happens. I've ran into it doing stuff like this also, happens all the time.
