Root Stuck in twrp /system not mounted

I tried to flash a Rom checked it and ran it like the video I watched on YouTube. I get stuck on the metro screen and have a message saying that my system/ file isn't mounted. Only sometimes it is though.

I had stock 4.4.4 on it before

it only say that when u in twrp ? if u used the switcher / restore / it will say that no worries .

Yeah I did that but it won't liad I get stuck on the metro screen.

I fixed it it was still on the 4.4.4 Rom so I flashed butterkat HOw do I upgrade it?

upgrade what ?what do u want to install ? first if u want to install a new rom . u need to go to twrp do a factory wipe .
go to install install rom -- takes a while
then install gapps
do not use switchers if u dont need it

Just go into mount and mount system. That fixed it for me
