Help Stuck on 4.0.4 in NZ

Hi All,

I am in New Zealand and can't get an update on my p5110. Tried both kies and software update settings menu option.

I don't want to root. I emailed Samsung and they basically said sorry its not updated in that region.

Really? This slow? Not sure where the delay is at but its a PITA!

Tried an international DNS but no luck.

Any ideas?

The main reason I want the update is I hope it makes it a bit smoother - its a bit jerky even when unloaded in comparison to my galaxy nexus. I appreciate there is a bunch of bloatware on it...

I didn't notice any difference on my Tab 2 7" with the 4.1.1 update. At times, it seemed a hair laggier but it could just be my imagination. Or maybe I should have performed a factory reset first before personalizing it.

4.1.2 on my new Galaxy Victory is noticeably smoother though.
