Root Stuck on bootloader screen

entry

Lurker
It's been about a year since I rooted/flashed my phone and haven't had any problems. But as of last night whenever I boot it, I'm stuck at the bootloader screen.

it's a white screen with different options that don't really take me anywhere.

Cycling through the options takes me nowhere. Fastboot tells me no img was found. Recovery sends me to HTC splash screen, then vibrates then sends me back.

Any idea what the problem could be or how to fix it? I'm totally lost

How do I place that in the root section of my SD card when it's not accessible from the boot menu?

Umm take SD card out of phone. Connect it to pc, place ruu on card via pc. Take card out of pc, put back in phone, reboot.

Ah yeah, well I don't a microSD input in my computer so I was thrown off. Looks like I'll have to buy a USB adapter to do this. Thanks for the help!

finally got it on the SD card and it still doesn't work.

I downloaded RUU, renamed to PG86IMG.zip and put on SD card.

when I run fastboot I get No Image (or No Image or Wrong Image) down the board

when I reboot bootloader it just brings me back to that screen

same with reboot

when I run simlock it says

FAT32 init OK
Open MCCMNC file fail
Open CID file fail

You mean going to hboot and trying recovery? like I said it just flashes the HTC splash screen then goes right back to the white screen with the bootloader

No I mean start from scratch. Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

If the pg86img didn't work, you need to run.the exe through windows, or the file didn't transfer correctly.
