I purchased a Doogee mobile phone from Amazon and have already unpacked the ROM to remove the bloatware and untrustworthy AdsUp FOTA. However now I have a problem. During the setup wizard, the phone gets stuck on the "Just a sec..." screen without the option to skip. It is impossible to move beyond this point.
In build.prop, I have even set the ro.setupwizard to disabled, but they "Just a sec..." screen still appears.
I suspect the phone is trying to do a wireless update, or at least check, but the AdsUp Fota isn't there, so it just hangs.
What is this "Just a sec..." doing? And how can I remove it?
