Root Stuck on Samsung Screen

so i tried to make a phone call and it kept force closing so i tried to reflash the rom and it got stuck so my dumb ass took out the battery and now its stuck on the samsung screen (before the bootloader screen)

its bricked huh?

or is there something i can do to fix it?

Probably a bad flash. Try to power on with the 9 key held. If you can get it into download mode reflash and try again. I suggest re downloading the Rom you were trying to flash, as it may be corrupted. If you cant get it into download mode, it needs jtag service. Its very expensive, and probably not worth it though. You'd be better off getting a better device

I have a cricket r915. if you have a cricket r915 then the download mode instructions on this site are wrong and will not work. You have to power off the phone or take the battery out, hold down the volume down buttone on the side of your phone, then tap, not hold, just tap the power button, sometimes plugging in the usb cord instead of tapping the power on will also put into download mode with a yellow triangle on the screen, sometimes it gives me a different picture on downloand screen with a different icon. then use the odin instructions, and read them all atleast three times before you start. i'd make sure flashing it again with odin is the only option, though not that risky. I've seen my phone take upwards of 10-15 minutes, sometimes i just leave it alone and i'll come back later and it'll boot up. Once i flashed and the boot process lasted more than 25-30 minutes, at that point i decided re-flashing was the best choice. Did you pull the battery out before the initial flashing of the rom was finished?

If odin said done and your phone rebooted you probably dont have anything to worry about just give it some time to boot. If it takes longer than 25 minutes go ahead and flash it again... with the indulge-uberfixit.tar(might aswell use this anyway) download option 2 in the odin thread
