I've been waiting on this phone for quite some time...for some reason the iPhone, no matter how fancy, never grabbed me so much, and i've never been able to use the on screen keyboard that well. When the G1 was revealed to have a physical keyboard, I was stoked.
So come January, the wife and i are dumping "Can you hear me now?" and moving over to T-Mo, and when Verizon acts all hurt about it, we'll say, "you had your chance but turned 'em down.

this gives me just enough time to save up the duckets for the phone, activation fees and all that.
i'll be getting the g1, now my wife has to decide what phone she wants....probably a freebie with a bluetooth headset...as long as it's not a slider, which she seems to just not like at all, and keys that are decent enough for texting. And since it will be the new year, they'll likely have a slew of phones they'll be trying to move.
