Help stuck

hi .. my phone froze and would not switch on so i decided to reset it but now i am stuck on the downloading... do not turn off target screen ... i have been stuck here for a while now please help someone

Hello and welcome to AF, jadpap.

Which method did you use for the reset? From the menu, or via the button combination (volume up + home + power)? There are three things to try:

If you tried the reset from the menu, pull the battery, sd card and SIM card. Leave it all out for a minute. Put it all back in and try to power up normally. If it does not respond normally, pull the battery, SIM card and sd card again, wait, then hold the power button down for about 15 seconds.

If not recovery or power up normally, do the same thing (boring I know ): pull the battery, SIM card and sd card, wait, then do the button combination. While holding all three buttons, wait for the white "..Galaxy..." letters then quickly release all three buttons.

Use the volume down key to navigate to the "wipe data/reset" item on the menu. Press power to make it happen. Once done the default "reboot now" will be highlighted, press power again and see what happens.

hi .. i have tried pulling it all and still nothing i pressed up wen the yellow triangle came on and it says odin mode nd small writing ... however i do not have a product name

If you're seeing a yellow triangle then you're not using the right button combination to get to the recovery menu, or the device is rooted and has its own non-stock recovery. Has your S3 been rooted at some point?

Please read the button combination carefully...and make sure your battery is 100% charged before doing anything more; in fact, have a look here:

i dont know kno if it has been rooted it is second hand and has been reset before i got it ... other button combinations do not work
