Student needing help

I'm taking an android programming class at school, and need help with one of my projects. I have an assignment due on Monday, but without being able to get the project done, I know for a fact that I won't be able to get the assignment done. Can anyone please help me?

It's really a simple project that I need to work on, introducing the aspects of changing activities and passing variables between activities.

The overview of the lab is here: CSCI 153 Lab

I know that I've got the layout set up correctly for all three required screens, but whenever I try to actually go from one screen to the next, the program crashes. Looking in the debugger, I see that I got a null-pointer exception, but I don't know where it's failing at.
