I've flashed CWM recovery using fastboot but I don't know what combination to use to enter recovery itself. I'm on stock rom using a Studio 5.3s. The XDA forum just vaguely says "boot in to recovery" with not specific way. I've tried Vol UP + Power and Vol Down + Power and nothing.

If you have root get Quick Boot and reboot to recovery. If that doesn't work I hope somebody has more info.

With stock recovery you have to press volume up and power button together, it'll come up a green screen, keep the buttons pressed until the screen change to red, then release the buttons, you should wait a second and then it enters into recovery mode. Let me know if it works fine and post how you did to install cwm please

Have any one flashed a custom kit kat rom? Need help on installing cwm recovery, aio flasher don't recognizes my phone although I have properly installed the drivers that are included on the phone

I successfully rooted my phone using framaroot, with the gandalf exploit. I want to install cwm recovery, any hint on how? I have done an extensive research trough the Internet but haven't find any clear thread about how to properly do it in a simple way, and the instructions on how to build a cwm for a specific phone are very vague and difficult. Thanks!

None at all! I've done it using framaroot with the gandalf exploit and no problem since, I did it to use link2sd and gain some system space and so far so good
