Stupid Question But

I have to ask. Do they make some kind of device i can buy/rent that will find a 4G LTE signal? I called my local VZW and they said our little town had it so I bought a phone off ebay(haven't paid yet) -THEN it occured to me to look at a coverage map..Duh! Needless to say according to their map 4G is about 3 blocks in one direction and 1/2 mile in the other!! I am new to the area and don't know anyone to ask that has 4G to come to my house to see. So if there is something that would pick up a signal- something similar like they use for sattelite to zero in?

Does your phone not have 4G? If not, you could buy a cheap Verizon LTE phone and see if it gets 4G where you live. But being that close, surely you want LTE even if it's just in town?

No, I have a Dinc that is 3G only that is excellent except I want faster internet. Where I live is what VZW calls 4G LTE extended which means a 4G Lte will only be 3G...and I already got that. I'd hate to buy even a cheap 4G just to see if I've got coverage. I guess I need to call RS and see if they have such a thing.
