Help Stuttering in new s3?

meio

Newbie
Ok so my new s3 seems to stutter every now and then e.g. when in the play store after search, choosing the app in the play store, browsing the net. These are only micro stutters but it just annoys me. Is this a normal thing with the s3?

I have the same issue and it reminds me of my blackberry days. LOL. Nostalgia aside, it annoys the crap out of me. I installed cache cleaner three weeks ago and it has not solved the stutter problem.

Try clearing cache partition in recovery mode then (turn phone off. Turn on holding power, home and volume up buttons) use vol' buttons to scroll the menu.
If the phone is still "sticky" after clearing cache, try a factory reset if youre prepared for it

Try the App Cache Cleaner widget. It always fixes that type of thing for me

Thx i tried that and i think it helped. Just one more query, is it normal for the lock screen to flicker the page u were on before locking/sleeping occasionally?

I've had my S3 since last September & never had any stuttering until recently. I think it might be a problem with the latest firmware upgrade since it only started doing it very recently. It's only occasional, but *very* annoying.

I'm in the UK with an unrooted, unbranded phone running 4.1.2 version I9300XXEMC2.

I have cleared the cache partition and the issue remains. I suppose I could do a factory reset but I honestly don't think that will fix it as I've had other issues since my last update as well. (Media is burning my battery up while idle) I will give the reset a try when I have some time however.

Choppy laggy scrolling, freezing lagging typing, small sporadic delays when opening programs etc. That's what I am experiencing when I say "stuttering. "

This is normal on every Android phone. The Nexus 4 is by far the smoothest but nothing even remotely comes close to the performance of even an iPhone 4S. It's quite laughble at this point in time.
