Apps Styles

Hi,


I am fresh into android development i want to know how to add styles and theam into app through library, i referred a link styling in android,"http://blog.stylingandroid.com/archives/537", and i am running into errors,

"com.android.layoutlib.bridge.MockView cannot be cast to android.view.ViewGroup
Couldn't find theme resource attr/vpiTabPageIndicatorStyle for the current theme
Couldn't find theme resource attr/vpiTabTextStyle for the current theme
Exception details are logged in Window > Show View > Error Log
The following classes could not be found:
- com.viewpagerindicator.TabPageIndicator$TabView (Fix Build Path, Edit XML, Create Class)"

Please help me ,thank in advance.....

are you using r17 of the SDK?

They changed the way libraries (.jars) worked in r17

Also can you post some code/XML?


Finally I might recommend avoiding styles and themes when you are just learning and just doing the graphics and stuff in the layout XML

Themes are trickier than they seem.
