Accessories Stylus for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

Hi everyone:

I am thinking about buying an S2, 9.7": my main uses will be media consumption (HBO Now, SlingTV, New York Times, etc) and to read and markup pdfs (likes right notes in the margin).

I think the S2 should be pretty excellent for the first task but am not so sure about the second. I am interested in buying a stylus (like say DotPen, Fineline, or Jot Dash) but it is unclear how well they work on the S2. I realize that the Note is a good route if I wanted an integrated stylus (S2 pen), but am concerned that this tablet is a bit old already and will not be getting Androis updates (the screen resolution I think is kind of lacking even on the 2014 edition-- I looked at the 10.1).

Does anyone have any experience using a stylus on the S2 they could share? Thanks for any suggestions or tips!

I never have bothered with a stylus for my S2 9.7. Just briefly, to be of assistance, I tried my old Note 10.1 stylus (Samsung) on my S2 and it didn't work properly at all. After a thirty second long trial I would say definitely "not recommended"!

I bought a stylus for my Tab 2 from Amazon a few years back. It was just a cheap $5 one, but it worked fine. I never really used it and ended up giving it to my wife, who put it in a drawer and I am not sure if it still exists. LOL

I find using my finger is more gratifying, not to mention easier to keep track of when travelling.

Anyway, the whole point of this is to say that you might want to go with a cheap one first to see if you would even use it, instead of spending a bunch of money and then never using it.
