are you talking about the stock swype keyboard? if so, did you try the actual swype app?

Yes I am talking about the stock swype keyboard that came on the phone...I can not find a swype app in the market though???Another question....is there text messaging apps out there that give me a blank screen to write normally with my stylus as I would on paper and then it turns to into text???Make sense??

I have tried the various handwriting to text apps out there and even purchased a rather pricey one. So far they really aren't worth messing with. Oddly, I used to use one on my Pocket PC PDA several years ago that worked flawlessly. That company's same app for android is terrible. I would love to see that functionality come back but we just aren't there with android yet.

You are right that the stock keyboard is lacking. You may want to try the real Swype app. The beta is free and works great: Swype | Text Input for Screens

Also, I highly recommend Swiftkey 3. It doesn't have a swype feature but it has the best predictive text out there. Costs a few bucks but there is a lengthy free trial and it's worth every penny.

I second giving Swiftkey 3 a try. This app learns as you use it. I've been using it long enough now that I can type complete sentences just by taping the words it predicts along the top of the keyboard.
