Submitted your EOL wishes yet?

it is exactly what it says it is.
do you want your kids to loose all that inheritance because
the medical world was trying to keep you alive ?

If not, put you wishes on paper or doc and get it to your
Pri Physician. You can use your android to compose it,
rethink it and then get to you Doc.

From my understanding if you don't submit one, its not the medical staff that gets to choose, its at the immediate family's discretion. At least that is how it happened with my previous girlfriend. Things took a turn for the worst and the doctor that had been doing all he could took her parents and I aside and discussed if she had ever mentioned it, and in fact just a week or so prior she had mentioned too me and to her parents not too much earlier than that. It wasn't what we wanted, but we knew it was what she wanted.

Based off what the OP stated I think he is talking if you want to be kept alive through medical advances, or if you want the "plug pulled" if you're put on life support for what would seem to be an indefinite amount of time.. From my understanding a will comes in to play after death
Common practice for this is just telling your loved ones your wishes, my mom knows my dads wishes if he were to face the situation

That's a living will though. Your family can obviously make the decision for you, a living will just ensures that they do make the right decision and don't go, "Yes!! I've always hated that guy, pull the plug now!!!"

To me, EOL also means End of Life, but in a Microsoft killed a great program sort of way.

There!

LOL

And no, no End of Life (as in death) submissions yet. I intend to go out screaming and fighting until my last breath.

I would handle submitting an EOL document in a much different way. There must be some legal forms out there one should use rather than a text document created on a cell phone.

This is a serious matter.

yeah right!!! are you kidding me? talk about a can of worms just waiting for probate.....Wills,Trusts. Living wills et al.. should be drafted properly and legally... can't even imagine the lawsuits coming out of this one!!

There are a couple of web sites that sell simple wills and trusts for ~$60. Since every state has different laws they sell them for specific states. If the app doesn't have specific language for your state it may have no legal standing at all. Don't know if I can link to them without getting banhammered, but they're really good sites and everyone should have a will and a living will. Well, if you love your family anyway. If you hate your family don't do any of that stuff and let them sort it out once you're gone.
