Subpar Camera Issue?

Is anyone getting some grainy pictures from the HTC Camera app? I though I was upgrading my camera, but it appears the HTC DHD has a superior camera thus far.

Almost every picture with the HTC One X+ is grainy, unless their is a perfect combination of light. Even then, it seems the picture is being compressed.

Anyone else experiencing this and have a work around?

My pictures are pin sharp and better than my old DHD.
Have you altered your settings in the app?

For regular snaps I have

ISO on auto
White balance on auto
Aspect and Resolution on Large 16:9
Flash on auto.

And all is great for quick snaps.

I received an update for the camera yesterday but I think this was for the standby mode.
