Subscript and superscript

Can anyone tell me how to make use of superscript and subscript in post titles, posts etc
E.g: If i want to add TM to my works or if I want to use

 

[TVictory]

Whats[sup]sup[/sup]

Whats going[sub]down[/sub]


I added [ sub ] and [ sup ] for a trial run you can use them now.

I don't quite see the qualitative difference. The only difference i see is the how high or low the little words are?
