Help Such bad screen colors?

I currently use two phones. My work has issued me Verizon G3. Is my screen defective or is it how dull the colors are. Every color looks washed out, black color highly gray, white is not so white. I used 18% to 50% brightness on screens in first image. The second one is set up 50% to 50%. Then there are two images one is set at 0% and another at 100% brightness. I know images does not do it's justice but it's noticeable, best way to describe it as if someone washed colors with Clorox. Is it as it is or it's defective?

I can't quite tell what that other phone is but it looks like he may be comparing lcd and amoled screens.

Amoled always has a deeper more saturated color scheme. My LG G3 definitely looks a little washed out compared to the Nexus 6 I had to return.

The LG G3 color/saturation adjustment doesn't really help. It makes some colors look better and others look worse.

I apologize for not mentioning the other phone. Its Moto x 2013. I haven't explored the differences between amoled and led screens but I was not expecting such a huge difference. If thats the case, thats the worst high end screen I've seen in a while. Ple ase don't get me wrong I'm a big LG fan. I own an LG tv, had 4 different phones in the past.
