Root Sudden Wi-fi issues

So I'm running android 4.0.3, And I wasn't having any issues when I flashed the rom. Wifi, 4g and gps all worked fine...Then about a week ago it suddenly had trouble connecting to the wifi network in our home..I don't know if it's related to the rom or an internal component with the phone, Or perhaps a setting I unknowingly changed..But when I go to connect to the wifi network 90% of the time it just keeps saying "Obtaining ip address" and just doesn't connect...Are there any idea's or possible solutions I could try? I thought it might be the wireless router. but nothing else in the house is having connection issues..

Thanks,

if you havent flashed any new kernels, then its likely just an issue with the rom. prolly first thing i would do is restore a stock backup and make sure the wifi still works there :)

Well, I currently have a new problem!..I'm stuck in a boot loop! I press power and the volume down button at the same time, I get to the white screen with the options, But then it does it's scan thing and keeps asking me if I wanna install the new radio file..If I click yes it installs it and then it only give me an option to reboot. Which of course sends me back to the boot loop..If I click "no" it just reboots into the boot loop..

someone please help!!!!!!!

I'm sorry, But this may sound dumb, but what do you mean a usb adapter? Like plug my phone directly into my pc? Or take the card out and put that into an adapter and into my computer?...

Remove the sd from the phone, put into.adapter, plug directly into.pc.

you could.also put the card into another phone,as long as it has a file manager,or will mount to.the pc.to.transfer files.

You just need to find a way to remove pg05img.

sorry for the short answers, earlier, i was at work, where it is difficult to type long answers on my phone.

have you gotten yourself sorted?

once you find a usb/sd card adapter,or anotehr phone to stick your sd card in and remove PG05IMG,all you need to do is enter recovery from the hboot screen, and then wipe data, cache, dalvik cache and restore a known working backup. hopefully that will get you up and running :)

Ok, so I was finally able to remove the file and reboot into recovery..I then decided to try a different rom. I really don't know what's the newest, best or most stable rom these days..So I flashed Bamf forever cubed 1.10..It seems to be working fine for now. But I'm still having wifi issues..Even after a complete wipe..
