Help Suddenly unable to send outgoing mail

DeniseAK

Lurker
Hi, I have a Galaxy SII and am suddenly unable to send mail and get a connection error message.
When I got to settings for outgoing messages I get Cannot connect to server (500 Authentication Denied (VM320).
Does anyone know what this means or what to do about it?
I can receive mail (ntl) fine but just can't send it on wifi or data plan.
I changed my password yesterday but have sent mail since then without problem so don't know what's changed today.
I can't change outgoing settings either as I get a cannot connect to server message.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks.

Its unclear if you changed your password and then had trouble or what client your using or what ISP. SMTP servers send mail to people and they have rules. I would remove and re-add the email account.

On a side note I get these notices from time to time on my yahoo or my hotmail account ...bad password. I learned to ignore them an usually within a few hours it disappears with me doing nothing.
