When I type sudo in my terminal emulator it says denied. Why?

Which phone do you have .
Only one phone I know comes with sudo access and that is Motorola Triumph .
Basically the objective of rooting is to get root privileges via shell .
You cant ask root privileges via shell to gain root privileges .Its catch 22 .
Its impossible to root via Terminal emulator in any case .
You need adb shell to root if you are using exploit method
You need custom recovery/kernel to root for direct root .

First off, thank you. I was watching a video on youtube where a guy did it through the emulator but Idk im not him I guess. My phones a DROID 2. Im about to upgrade for a razr so I want to mess around a little first
