Isn't this kind of like having WOPR play tic-tac-toe against itself? Kinda defeats the purpose.

Well it's a bit of fun really. You might find it useful if you get stuck on a really difficult Sudoku puzzle and want to know where you went wrong. It can solve any level of puzzle in a second.

I also develop an app called Sudoku Capture. This uses the camera to scan a Sudoku puzzle into your phone. At the moment it just solves the puzzle but the next update at the end of May will include game play.

I trained a neural network to distinguish between the 9 number patterns.
