Suggestions for Windshield mount for Note 4 with case...

My old windshield mount will actually just fit my Note 4 when naked, but as thin as the Note 4 is, there's some extra room depth-wise. It will not fit it with a case however.

When shopping for windshield mounts, I see that many list the Note series of phones, but as stated, my old mount will technically fit the Note 4 as well. I'm hoping to find one that fits it with a case on.

Anyone got a mount they can share with me that has the room needed?
 
I would like to know this as well. This is the first phone I've owned that I have wanted a vehicle mount for as the size begs for it.
 
This one fits mine with a slim case on it. The mount has foam on the side grippers so it may give some more. It also supports the bottom of the phone.

I just measured my Speck Case, and it's 3.25" X 6.25".
I'd probably need it to accomodate at least 3.33 - 3.5" in width depending on how the side grippers are shaped. I also would want the bottom feet to be further from the side grippers given the height of this phone. My goal is to have it gripped near the middle, rather than near the bottom.

I know this one will fit, it supports up to 5.5" of width...and is marketed for tablets. howver, it needs extra support off the dash to hold up heavier things. I'll have to do more research:

I have this mount as well. The bottom tabs swivel in and out so you don't have to use them (but they don't extend); so that might help with your centering concern. My DNA with Otterbox case is roughly 3.125 wide and has a couple clicks before it gets really snug. I think you might be able to get 3.25-3.3. I highly doubt you would get 3.5 in this mount. Ill give it a better measurement when I get home tonight.

However I love this mount as I using the vent mount when I travel is very helpful and it stows very compactly.

EDIT: The Kensington one that I have at maximum width (no clicks) is 3 and 7/16. Each foam pad is about 1/4 inch.

I've purchased both of these today from Amazon, and should have them both by Friday, and may give my opinion on them this weekend.


This one supports up to 3.9" width, and looks cooler IMHO. The single piece arm looks nicer, but may not align right since there's 1 less adjustment point to the one below.

This one supports up to 4.7" width, but the fold down foot doesn't inspire me with confidence (kinda why I bought the other one above too). I've had a window mount with a similar foot that actually would unfold past 90 degrees...I didn't like that. It does however have an extra pivot point, so it may win out in the end.

So I've got $18 invested total in both mounts. Perhaps I'll return one, but not sure. Maybe I can find another way of mounting the other one to give a dash mount option as well as window mount.

Add I stated, I bought both of these. The first one arrived damaged. One of the lower feet was broken, so I returned it without using it. The second one (iClever) which is larger fits just fine. In fact, it will fit a Nexus 7. From what I can tell, there's another brand making the same mount with some wolf logo. Same price, but has a better knob. The knobs on this are round, and allow you to tighten then, but the alternate has knobs with two wings which let you really torque them down. If I had to do it all over again, if get the wolf brand (as cheesy as it seems)
