Help Suggestions on buying a new battery

I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 that is about 14 mos old. I have done what I can to decrease the
'strain' on my battery but it is still draining down to 50% 0r so after 5 hours. I don't want to get stuck with a dead battery. I have looked at some on Amazon but it seems people complain after they buy them the batteries die too fast. Any suggestions on where to buy one.

I'd say that the best way to NOT buy a clunker is buy an original battery as Funky said. It's not a guarantee, especially with Samsung, lol, but I think it's certainly increases your possibilities of getting a good one!

If you're buying from Amazon, make sure it's directly from Amazon, not one of their marketplace vendors.

Alternatively, if you're willing to spend a little more, look at mugen batteries or even an official Samsung replacement.
