I don't understand why people need specific apps to browse popular web sites. Accessing them through the regular browser generally works fine. The specific apps usually have a pretty limited or clunky version of the same site as you would see it in a desktop or mobile browser.

I'd like to see a live wallpaper that just cycles pictures every so often. Is there a generic app that will do that while selecting pictures from a specified folder?

Why not use the excellent, free app they've developed here? I think it's way better than the XDA app that's built on the tapatalk platform.A possibilty to access comfortably this forum could be to use the app Tapatalk.
But the forum has to support Tapatalk (it doesn't, I tried it).
You could post the forum's admin to support Tapatalk
