Root Superoneclick stucked in getting mount path (not responding)

Please help me move forward in rooting my Samsung Vibrant 2.2

:D1.On youre phone hit Menu then go to Settings > Applications > Development and make sure USB Debugging is checked ON.
2. Download the One Click Rooting program for your specific phone and extract it to somewhere on your computer.

Samsung Vibrant One Click Root
3. Connect the phone via USB cable to your computer.
4. Right click the AT&T Captivate One Click Root.exe/T-Mobile Vibrant One-Click Root.exe file and select Run As Administrator
5. A command prompt window will appear, simply follow the instructions in the command prompt and you
 
I tried this and I still get the "E:signature verification failed Installation aborted" the same as with just manually copying the update.zip which is supplied in several other places.

I think either T-Mobile/Samsung put something in this latest KB5 release to prevent rooting or a new update.zip is necessary because something else changed. i.e. it's still possible to root but a new script is required or something.

It is possible to root, you just need to flash down back to stock 2.1 eclair then have the update.zip that gets you in to CWM (ClockWork Mod Recovery).
