Can we standardize some basic information here. So far this is what has been portrayed as Firmware updates:

Firmware: deb-r2.1.1623
Firmware: deb-r2.1.1568
Firmware: deb-r2.1.1561
Firmware: deb-r2.1.1480
Firmware: deb-r2.1.1170

The only official releases are 1070 and 1561.
The real interesting question is where did 1568 and 1623 come from and are they safe versions?

Seem to have ran into an issue after taking the flytouch two out of the box.

did some basic configuration of the wireless proceeded to enter the registration code and it asked me to upgrade the firmware so I thought nothing of it and went ahead and didn't bother with the backup as I figured it would bring up all the already installed Apps but it didn't

It didn't install the wowBackup or wowRestore software the wowfilemanager and ebook reader is there but after customising my device I'd like to back everything up.

I've used Adao File Manager to look in the system app folder and wowupdate is there but no wowbackup.
