SuperSU install reboot error

Well, wish I'd seen the post about nandroid before starting the root process on my nexus10. I found and was using the nexus10root.com guide which looked simple enough. The guide walks you through unlocking the device, installing clockwork and SuperSU. I was eventually able to get to supersu install but that's where it fell apart. After SUperSU you're just supposed to restart, instead I was warned about rom access and "root access possibly lost". I wasn't sure what to choose I ended up trying all the options and I still can't get past the swirling dots. Sorry if this is a common question, I've done lots of searching and can't seem to find what I need. Thoughts?

It took some time but I figured out some of the issues. The nexus10root.com guide was outdated in many many areas. I figured out how to create and flash the right files from fastboot which put me back to stock Lollipop and I tried rooting again. Same problem. Turns out it was all caused by an old version of CWM. I found the most current versions of clockworkmod Recovery (the actual problem) and SuperSU, re-flashed and all set.

You're honestly much better off using TWRP, clockwork mod is pretty dead right now, the developer left that project. Glad you figured it out and got it sorted though.

I had no idea Blu8, too new to know better. I ended up trying to use my cwm recovery a few days after you posted this, wouldn't work. Tried all the backups I made from 3 sources, all passed md5sum; no luck. I ended up flashing lollipop and starting over. TWRP is now installed and it seems much better. Time will tell :)

BTW, what's your favorite source of android support and info, I have much to learn.
