Root SuperUser.apk: To update, or not to update?

That is my question. I noticed in the play store I can update the SU app, is this ok to update? I know with the indulge and I believe on my ascend (few years back) updating su could be bad and ruin the permissions. I think the version of su coinciding with the system conflicted when you upgraded it, or something like that.. anyone update theirs yet, was it safe?

Personally, I would leave the one we have since it works perfectly. Why fix it if it ain't broke? lol

I updated mine and had no problem...

yeah I updated with no issue, I know at one time like a year or so ago, there was an issue with the update and superuser came out with a fix for it. I believe that fix is part of the new app.
