Root Superuser issues velocity 1.2

I got curious and tried that bionic rom for ally and couldnt get it to work from constant reboots. Anyhow wiped everything and formatted sd card (only way to make velocity 1.2 take) and installed velocity 1.2. Setup account, rebooted to recovery and installed patch 1.2.1. Ok here is problem, phone runs fast, no FC's, and no sms/mms issues so far but, cant get su for terminal at all and it wont do directory check saying permission denied. Is there a fix without reflashing again? Almost forgot to mention that superuser updated to a 3.0.1 version.

updating the binary was the problem. 3.0.1 unrooted your phone. happened to me too. had to reroot the phone. the binary is up to 3.0.3 now and doesnt unroot anymore.
