Supplied Charger cable Micro USB not USB3?

Hi all

Just took delivery of the wife's shinny new S5:D:D (happy wife happy life!)

The charger cable that came with it is a standard micro USB cable and not the USB3.0 cable like the one that came with my Note 3?

Is that normal?

More info: Vodafone Australia pre ordered

Thanks Pep

The charger cord may have a 2.0 microUSB plug on it, but the phone is USB 3.0. Sometimes carriers (or individual shops) will swap out more expensive parts for cheaper parts, and tell you that you have to buy the more expensive one. It's common in the US with phone that come with earphones - except they're not in the box, you have to buy them. The manufacturer supplies them, the carrier charges for them.
