Root (support) HTC Rezound Root 4.0.3 on windows 8 please help

OK i am pretty new at this i feel like a pest asking over and over again but im at my wits end with this i know i have to unlock the bootloader first right? i found a great guide but when i am in fastbootmode and i type "fastboot devices" it wont recognize my device but it does when i do "adb devices" i am very confused. can someone help me asap even on team veiwer or something? Thank you
 
Yes,you'll have to unlock your bootloader before you can install a recovery,add root,or flash a Rom. Hopefully someone can point you in the right direction for drivers :)
 
i just rooted and s-off about a month ago with windows 8 but had to use a copy of ubuntu through vmware to do it because i could not find drivers for windows 8 after searching nonstop for weeks
