Help Supported video formats

I put a video on my SD card (flv) and i cant play it.

What video formats are supported for watching videos from the SD card?

man, flv files need special codecs even in the pcs...
You can use better and more known formats, such as mkv, avi, divx, mp4

720p videos run great

I have been pulling my hair out all night trying to find a good free converter to convert my flv file to any format which the Galaxy S can play.

Can someone please suggest a free converter, as im sure people will use them on here.

The flv is not great quality so it doesnt have to encode hd.

Nope it does both for audio and video. They just advertise it funny.

But that should work for ya.

I haven't tried it on flv. .... but you might want to try 'format factory'. I used the AlltoAVI and it works for my mkv files.
