Is there any app/widget out there that lets me type a contact's name and it pulls them up with the option of texting, emailing or calling them?

The stock app from HTC is "Search People" but the interface just bogs me down - anything better than that?

you can just push the phone button then start typing their name. when it comes up click the box on the left and it lists your options
