Swap mount points?

I saw this on the LG esteem forum and wondered if anyone has seen or has a file like it for our phones, it basically just switches the external sd as mnt/sdcard instead of /mnt/sdcard/external sd. I have a 32gb class 10 lexar external sdcard i would like to use as the main internal sdcard storage for my phone, i would prefer to have the 11.5 gb internal atm be used as storage for my music,movies etc.

Storage/menu/storage configuration... Allows you to swap between the primary on ics, not sure if this is what you meant. If you were already aware disregard!
