Help swaping back button with home button

hi, i m facing some problems with my galaxy y's back button, many people also faced the same probs that it sometimes does not work. so i was wondering if i can swap the back button and home button with each other coz the back button is used more than the home button. is it possible by using anything? :D
 
i have no idea, maybe installing a new rom. :D

btw, if the softkey is unresponsive, it would be better to go to the customer service to let them check it out.

the design is basically a good standard used by most phones so i dont think developers will make apps that can switch those buttons.
 
i thought it was an intelligent idea cz a lot of people were facing problems with the back button, and it will be easier to have an app rather than go to customer care ;(
 
you can also try to make your thumb flat while pressing the softkeys. problems occur (my experience with my old samsung u700 softkey) is when you just press it using the tip of your fingers.
 
my problem remains while pressing the thumb flat, i've found only one solution for the back button is when it stops working, press the lock button to lock the screen then unlock again or by cleaning the surface of the back button with some soft cloth, then it works fine for another few minutes,then the problem starts again, is it a problem with my thumb? i dunno
 
i have used an app called 'button remapper', u can find it in galaxyygaming web site. u can change the function of any button using it
