Help Swaping phones

I have a Triumph with the $25 plan and my wife has the Optimus V with the $35 plan. I'm getting a company phone, so I want her to have the Triumph but with my plan.

I'm thinking on calling VM to have them swap the phone numbers on those 2 phones, does anyone know if it will work?

Also, is there a way to delete all contacts and calendar at once, or you have to do one by one?

I guess just by adding the new email address will bring in contacts and calendar, right?

Any other tips would be greately appreciated.

You should be able to add here number to your plan. That is how it works on VZW. I would just do a factory reset on the phone to wipe out contacts and calandar, that will return it to out of the box status (internally anyway).

I don't know that you can switch the number from one plan to another like that, but you can try. I guess what they probably can do is port her number to your account overriding your number, and replacing it with hers.

No, unfortunately the paid apps are associated to your gmail account. You would have to rebuy them under hers. If your new company phone is android, you will be able to get them without paying if you sign the phone in with your gmail account though.

You could sync your gmail restore the paid apps from the market then unsync your gmail account. Also you can't have multiple phones under one account on VM. Unless there is. Some thing I am missing...
