Does anyone know which setting to use to force the letter " i" to automatically change to a capital/uppercase "I"?

Don't know if there is a setting for this, but if you press the i key, it should show I as a choice just above the keyboard. Press that and you have the capital I in your text.

Just sussed it, I changed the setting from "precise" to "rapid" in typing style.

How do you find the tablet version? I bought the phone version without realizing there was another better suited to the nexus 7. I am unimpressed so far. What's different with the tablet?

Im not sure of the difference but i like the layout better than the original nexus 7 one. You can try the tablet version free for a month so you should check it out.
