So I tried Swiftkey out about a year ago and absolutely hated it especially compared to swype at the time. If was mediocre at guessing what I wanted to type which was cool, but it lacked horribly when it didn't already know what I wanted to type.
I downloaded it again last night and figured I would try it out again. (trying it out on tablet/phone and I have to admit.. both ways I am pretty impressed.
On the tablet it has a level of refinement that other keyboards don't seem to have. Seeing as swype doesn't work on my tablet I picked up SlideIT when it was on sale and while it works it just feels really rough..
I've read a few reviews where people say "it doesn't offer faster typist anything" but, I (at one point in time was a fairly quick typist) really feel it has an incredibly amount to offer. For one thing.. It is really nice to have a reduced total amount of effort required to type. I've had a few days where my thumbs ached if I had to type up an email/lot of text and I feel like it is a much less strainful process on the thumbs personally.
What do you guys think?
