Is there a way to keep the swipe lockscreen but add a password to it? I like the swipe unlock feature and how I can.change my clock backround and such but hate that I cant add a password or anything with it.... Is this possible to do at all? That would be great. Thanks

Unfortunately not. I with you on the swipe lockscreen. I like the way it looks and behaves, and the fact that you put shortcuts on it, but there isn't a way to add any sort of security to it.

I believe the function of the swipe screen is mainly so you don't hit things by accident, or butt dial someone. Lol. You can still pull down notifications without unlocking but it takes some effort.

Nothing more embarrassing than you butt dialing someone and then start talking to them.:p

i had the S3 and this does not behave the same...

i set the lockscreen pattern.. and set it to "Lock Automaticly" after 10 mins.
so.. after i unlock.. it would stay unlocked unless i dont touch the phone for more than 10 mins.

so when i turn on the phone.. it would turn on straight to the last place i was when i turned it off.
but on the N3.. it still has me sliding my finger across the screen .. to remove the lockscreen.

is there a way to not have to swipe?
