Swipe up Home Button -- Customization?

Is it possible to customize the apps that appear when you swipe up from the home button?

None that I know of. If I remember right, it's an added feature from LG, thus not making it changeable. There's probably a way to do it with ROOT, but that's likely about it.

Somewhere, I posted that this was possible (because someone's Swype Up) gesture was defaulting to something other than Google Search. Now I can't find my own post to repost the App I recommended.

I don't like the Search in these forums.

Anyway, Google Android Swype Up Replacement or some-such. I think it can be done.

Google Now Swipe Disabler. I also froze Quick Memo so swipe up is basically disabled. But the question was how to change the swipe up apps. I haven't seen a way to do that. There might be an Xposed module if you are rooted.

I thought that app would let you disable or point to another app, and without root.

You are correct sir. I didn't notice the choice to choose another app. It only works for the Google Now choice but it's a start.

For me, using G2 Xposed to have four navigation buttons with long press options makes more sense. I originally rooted just to be able to center the clock but found other advantages.
