Root Switch accounts=lose root?

My girlfriend's Sequent crapped out yesterday, so I offered to let her put my rooted Hydro on her account since I don't currently have it connected. But I'm worried that when Boost switches it, don't they have to do a hard reset on my Hydro? I will lose my beloved root access, and all my hard work will have been for nothing. I also deleted lots of the factory apps, so what will happen once it it reset? Will my hydro even work once it's reset?? Please someone answer my questions, and let me know what to do. PLEASE.

They don't do a reset, they just change the ESL in their database. (Now you know one reason a lot of people prefer GSM phones - just swap the SIM card and you're good to go.)

Yeah and when she get data on the phone just wipe data cache and davick cache . The carrier will never know if your rooted . Check the pm i sent you
