Root switch out sd cards when theming/roming?

i'm (finally) running syndicate rom 1.1.0 on my epic. my question is, can i save the .zip files for both the rom and any themes i download on one sd card, and switch it out to another primary one when i'm not in the process of applying a rom or theme? i've got very little space to work with for now (one 2gb, one 4gb), and want to have as much room for music on my 4gb card as i can. thanks!

Yes. After the ROM and theme are applied they aren't needed on your SD card anymore.

no frigging idea. when i went for this phone, they traded out cards when i said i had stuff i wanted to keep on mine, and i never saw the original. i wasn't aware of the fact that it was 16gb..

okay, just wanted to make sure i wouldn't mess anything up with this method if i need to redo anything in the future. someone had mentioned leaving the. zip file on my card in c axe anything went wrong. thanks muchly!

Def a wise idea to keep them backed up somewhere for a quick emergency

my main concern with this is whether or not the card would easily be recognized in an emergency situation. I know that upon reboot, the SD card gets scanned a time or two, and didn't know if cwm would be checking for a particular SD card.

..hoping this makes sense.

Sorry about your card:-( as a rule of them i keep atleast one different rom on my card then the rom i am using just in case. It has bailed me out more than once since i constantly tinker with my phone.
