Help switch to gprs if wifi not getting internet connection

hi friends
when my phone is connected to wifi but there is no internet access due to some issue, is it possible for phone to sense this and automatically switch back to gprs?

alternatively this problem can be seen as follows:-

if no internet connection is available can it switch off wifi automatically?

Unfortunately based on my testing, it seems this is not possible as the handset is still connected to an active Wifi connection.
