Help Switched to AT& T cant remove Verizon messages

This phone still thinks Verizon is still active. A Verizon sim card is not installed-Activate Verizon Software. How can I rid this phone of Verizon? Oh and this at startup.

yup, that works for me on my S5 and my Note 4
