Switching from an X10i to an Arc

There are several methods I am sure, but I think an easy one would be to make backups with Titanium Backup and backup your contacts on the SD card, then transfer them to the computer, and copy them to the new phone's SD card, install Titanium on the new phone and restore your app + data.
 
There are many ways to transfer contacts to a new android phone. The easiest is probably creating a CSV file and then importing those contacts from the CSV into your Google/Gmail account. Then when you use auto-sync and login to your account on Android they should automatically be added. Hope this helps. Good luck ;)
 
i did the switch 2 month ago from a x10a to a PLAY and all i did was ading my gmail accound into the phone and everything went fine
